Crafting Celebrity Smiles: The Power of Digital Smile Design

Well, hello. Sometimes patients come to us with photos of celebrities.

In fact, most of the time they bring pictures of celebrities, models, and influencers, and they point out a specific tooth, asking us to replicate it.

When I immediately say no, it's not very convincing for the patient. They wonder why not, and as a dentist, I can usually see the reasons why it's not possible.

However, what we can do is... use digital smile design to create mock-ups. We can apply the tooth design the patient saw on a celebrity to their own teeth without actually changing anything. This allows the patient to make their own decision based on the mock-up.

In fact, I think this is a crucial moment when we decide on the patient's final prosthesis. The smile design process with mock-ups is always very helpful for us.
